Print of the Month, September 2020

After a summer break, the Print of the Month is back.

September’s print was made in October 2019, during my Acadia photography workshop. This bright red maple was photographed at Upper Hadlock Pond. I like how the colorful leaves juxtapose nicely against the dark green of the pines behind it. I made a trip back to this location just a few days later, but the leaves had all dropped. Time is of the essence in the Autumn.
