This week’s Print of the Week comes from the coast of Acadia, at Little Hunters Beach. This small cove is renowned for the sounds the round boulders make as the waves wash them back and forth, creating a beautiful, unique sound, specially at high tide. I made this image half an hour before the sun rose, in the blue light of dawn. The semi-darkness required a long shutter speed of thirty seconds, which also smoothed the waves washing over the foreground rocks.
Each week I’m featuring a different print at a discounted price in the 14-inch size. Prints are printed with archival pigment inks on 11x15” archival rag paper, but not framed. A 16x20 inch frame would fit the print perfectly, with the addition of a mat around the print, which is often included in when you purchase a frame. Also, any framing store would be able to cut a mat and frame the print for you.
