This week’s print was made in June 2018, on a beautiful late Spring/ early Summer morning. The trail is the Hemlock Road, a continuation of the popular Jesup Trail near Sieur de Monts. I deliberately used a slow shutter speed to blur the movement of the tall grass on either side of the path, turning it into a splash of bright green juxtaposed with the still white birch trunks.
Each week I’m featuring a different print at a discounted price in the 14-inch size. Prints are printed with archival pigment inks on 11x15” archival rag paper, but not framed. A 16x20 inch frame would fit the print perfectly, with the addition of a mat around the print, which is often included in when you purchase a frame. Also, any framing store would be able to cut a mat and frame the print for you.
